Squid Cove Cottage

Take in spectacular sunsets from your porch at Squid Cove Cottage! This newly constructed 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath home enjoys ocean views of Hurricane Sound and The Reach. This house is the perfect setting for a group of 5-6 guests. The first floor has a beautifully decorated main living area with a fully equipped kitchen, a bar with stools, a dining room table with seats for six guests, and a comfortable living room with doors that open up to the front porch. Off of the main living area there is a full bathroom with a washer/dryer and the master bedroom. The master bedroom has a queen sized bed and access to a private deck. Upstairs, there is a bedroom with a queen sized bed, a sitting area, and a bedroom with two twin beds. Outdoors guests can relax on a large porch that runs the length of the house. Guests also have access to the waterfront and a dock to put in kayaks or swim. Enjoy all the island has to offer at this beautiful island home!   Reservation Information:  -Saturday to Saturday  -Please inquire if there are specific dates that you are interested in that do not adhere to our Saturday to Saturday schedule. We do make exceptions upon a person to person basis.  -7 day minimum stay

Is this property on an Island and how do we get there?

Yes, this property is located on Vinalhaven Island. To get here you must take a car ferry from Rockland, ME. The ferry departs 6 times daily in the summer. To learn more please search "Rockland-Vinalhaven Ferry Service" on your browser. 

Are linens and towels provided?

Yes, all linens and towels are provided. 

How is the WIFI & Cell Phone Service?

This house does have WIFI. AT&T and US Cellular service works, but not Verizon

Are kitchen basics provided?

No, we ask that you bring your own supplies to avoid cross contamination. 

Are parties or Gatherings allowed?

No, large parties or gatherings are prohibited when using the house. 

Are pets allowed?

No, this property is a no pets property

How do we check-in to the property?

We will send lock box information and directions to the house 2 days prior to check in.
